*SPOILERS AHEAD FOR EUPHORIA SEASON 2, EPISODE 3*

Euphoria Season Two, Episode Three, “Ruminations: Big and Little Bullys,” was..a lot. It dared to make us sympathetic for otherwise toxic characters and question rooting for our dysfunctional yet lovable protagonist Rue. Overall, it managed to leave all of us with a giant pit in our stomachs, but what else did we really expect?

Below is the playlist for this week’s episode, “Ruminations: Big and Little Bullys,” featuring a healthy dose of timeless throwbacks. Enjoy!

“Mystify” by INXS: Teenage Cal, in a flashback, drives to pick up his best friend, Derek.

“Never Let Me Down Again” by Depeche Mode: Cal and Derekhang out and get milkshakes. Derek checks out women who pass by and Cal..checks out Derek.

“The Look” by Roxette: Cal takes Marsha out on a date, and she proceeds to make a move on him.

“Chains Of Love” by Erasure: Cal tells Derek every detail about his evening with Marsha.

“Lips Like Sugar” by Echo & the Bunnymen: Cal and Derek have a double date with their girlfriends and go skinny dipping.

“She Sells Sanctuary” by The Cult: Cal and Marsha’s relationship becomes more intimate.

“It Ain’t Over ‘til It’s Over” by Lenny Kravitz: Cal and Derek celebrate their high school graduation.

“I Can Dream About You” by Dan Hartman: Cal and Derek get out of the sudden rain and get drinks at a bar.

“Never Tear Us Apart” by INXS: Cal and Derek drunkenly dance with each other and kiss.

“Call Me Irresponsible” by Bobby Darin: While high, as per usual, Rue lip-syncs and dances around her house with a pillow, making a mess in the process.

“Effigy” by Ministry: Rue passes a driving Cal on her bike.

"Como La Flor" by Selena: Maddy and Cassie sit by the pool and talk about Nate.

“Emotions” by Brenda Lee: Cassie meets up with Nate.

"Gangsta Nation" by Westside Nation feat. Nate Dogg: Rue rides her bike with a suitcase full of drugs.

“If” by Jo Stafford: The episode rounds up each of the characters’ subplots, showing Ethan auditioning for Lexi’s play and telling Kat about it, Jules and Eli hanging out, Maddie babysitting Theo, Cassie waiting for Nate to pick her up, Nate showing up at Maddie’s doorstep with flowers, and Rue coming home from an NA meeting with a suitcase full of drugs.

“Watercolor Eyes” by Lana Del Rey: The song previously featured in this episode’s trailer plays the end credits roll.
