House Of Protection Set The World Ablaze On New Single "Fire" | THE NOISE

House of Protection is on fire this year, so much so, they've just unleashed their next powerful single aptly titled, "Fire. " The second track from their highly anticipated sophomore EP, Outrun You All, set to drop on May 23, is a high-energy anthem. With its thrashing guitars, high-pitched sirens, and emphatic lyrics, the song is a testament to the band's relentless punk spirit.

"Fire" is an absolute banger, opening with Aric Improta screaming, "If you know what you desire/ (Hit 'em with, hit 'em with, hit 'em with...)/ Fire." Thrashing guitar riffs and throttling percussion lead the charge on the blissfully chaotic effort as Improta lays down the rules to life, including, "Fuck what they think/ Don't let that shit get to you/ Hold your own and let action speak," and "Define what you seek/ Don't start that whole debate/ Where you hesitate/ And then lose your streak." Bandmate Stephen Harrison holds it down on drums on the hook as he offers the equally sage wisdom of staying true to yourself and your path. The last thirty seconds of the single is painted with an immaculate rage colored with breakdowns and face-melting instrumentation. It is simply GLORIOUS.

On the single, the band shares, "The goal with 'Fire' was to write something with as much infectious energy as possible. A song that could invoke as much dancing as it does moshing. It's a hard balance to pull off. This has been the one new song we've played on tour before its release and it's already become our favorite to jam live."

Following their spring 2025 tour dates, House of Protection will return home to celebrate the release of Outrun You All with a special live underplay show at The Roxy in Los Angeles on May 24 (524) – their shared birthday and an emblem that appears on their merch and the EP's intro track. This will be their second appearance in LA since their debut sold-out show at the Echoplex.
