French Electronic Duo Jersey Reaches New Heights With the Chilling "Ghost Of What Could Be"

Dynamic French electronic duo Jersey, composed of brothers Carl and Renaud, has released its new single, "Ghost Of What Could Be." This latest single is a vibrant and powerful effort that uniquely blends elements of techno and garage, creating a sound that seamlessly combines organic and classical textures with neon-soaked electronics.

Luring listeners in with foggy, warped vocal samples and piano riffs reminiscent of glittering, shining stars in the night, the duo brings the track to life as layers of glitching synths and fluttering 808s gloss over the initially moody yet iridescent production. The head-rushing collage momentarily lulls around the midway point as they add indiscernible, enigmatic vocals to the mix, allowing them to experiment and cultivate different sonic colors before launching listeners into the infectious glow cloud they've created.

Alongside the single release is an energetic live session that sees the brothers setting up their instruments and gear in their living room, an homage to their viral DIY living room parties. Once ready, they burst into a passionate performance of the endorphin-inducing track, giving their all and sucking viewers into the engaging experience, as if they were performing for a stadium full of people.

Still at just the start of this new era of their artistry, this latest single follows the success of their last release, "I Need For Speed," marking their first new music release since their debut 2023 EP, The World I'm Searching For. After the release of the six-track body of work, they sold out their first world tour, played Coachella, and have built a reputation as one of the most promising newcomers in France's electronic music scene.
