jigitz Isn't Looking for Love in "touch," He's Looking for a Perfect Night Out

Brooklyn-based electronic artist jigitz returns with his latest mesmerizing track, "touch." Over the past year, the multifaceted artist, producer, DJ, and OTW zine alumn has captivated fans with a monthly stream of addictive releases, each adorned with its own distinct hue. And this month is no exception, as jigitz effortlessly crafts the quintessential anthem for hot sweaty rooftop summers to come.

The light blue paletted track kicks off with a hypnotic beat, setting the stage for the song's premise, "I'm not looking for love / I just want somebody to touch." With a swirling soundscape punctuated by fleeting guitar riffs and a pulsating rhythm, the listener is transported to their very own night out. Echoed by the refrain of "I just want somebody to touch," the track leads you to a realm almost reminiscent of carefree nights fueled by reckless abandon, desire, and one thing on your mind.

As the track progresses, jigitz continues to guide listeners through an entrancing narrative of evading the complexities of emotional intimacy and yearning physical desire. By its conclusion, the song fades out with an exasperated and transparent truth, "I’m going to go / I just want somebody to touch,” leaving listeners with a lingering sense of wanting more.

When asked about his inspiration for the track, jigitz succinctly shared, “I got tired of only making breakup songs.”

Continuing to feed fans with track after track, jigitz strikes gold once again on “touch.” One can only kick their feet and giggle in excitement as they await for his next song and color to come.
