LIA LIA Channels Her Rage in Riotous New Single "Shut Up!"

The world can now rejoice as the much-anticipated return of LIA LIA is here! Following the triumphant release of her 2023 EP Angst, the indie-alt-pop sensation is back with the first taste of her new era, "shut up!" This enigmatic and edgy single is a riotous addition to her ever-evolving and captivating discography.

"shut up!" kicks off with a one-of-a-kind fusion of storming bass lines, racing percussion, and angsty guitar riffs. LIA LIA's mesmerizing, siren-like vocals then take the lead, guiding the listener into a world of moody, captivating soundscapes. Her ability to seamlessly transition from sultry vocal croons to aggressive screams adds a fascinating layer to the song, captivating the listener as they fall further down the sonic rabbit hole.

The track's hook is a rage-fueled cacophony of blaring instrumentals as she lashes out at the people who face her wrath. Her vocals taking on a somewhat demonic tone, she demands that they "drop dead" and, as the song's title suggests, "shut up!," serving as a powerful expression of her frustration and anger.

"shut up!" is the first single LIA LIA has dropped since the release of her last EP, Angst. Across the six-track body of work, she illustrates the murky, in-between feelings associated with her polyglot identity. She reveals a new depth to her songwriting, weaving elements of alternative music influences, hypermodern internet culture, and blistering punk riffs.
