LUNA AURA Gets Her Bag and Power Back in New Single "MONEY BAG" [PREMIERE] | THE NOISE

Alt-songstress LUNA AURA continues to pave her own path with her latest single, "MONEY BAG." On the short but mighty track, the powerhouse vocalist reclaims her power alongside a barrage of crashing percussion and face-melting guitar riffs.

The single is brimming with messages of rebellion, feminism, and individuality opening with a relatively lowkey guitar precession buckling listeners up for the joyride the track inevitably takes us on. LUNA's biting lyrics hold no punches, calling out "Mister Moneybag"'s clownish behavior singing, "Think you're slick/ get your kicks/ get my name off your lips," and declaring, "Times up sucker sucker!" The song catapults listeners into a beautifully chaotic chorus, fueled with thrumming bass lines, seething guitar riffs, shining synths, and mosh-inducing percussion. The singer's intoxicating vocals gleefully rage in the cacophony of sound, proclaiming that she's taking back what's hers and will never let anyone take advantage of who she is.

"'MONEY BAG' is a song about taking back what's rightfully yours," shares the genre-bending artist. "The world is riddled with snakes who will try to take advantage of those they perceive to be weak or powerless. I've never been either of those things, and it's never ended well for anyone who's tried it with me."

The LA-via-Phoenix native, who began penning songs and performing at age 14, draws on childhood influences like Garbage, Blur, NIN, and Gwen Stefani. She has already shared stages with The Killers, K.Flay, Muse, Weezer, Garbage, P!nk, Odesza, and more of music's biggest names. She has also spent time on the festival market, playing KAABOO, Lost Lake, So What Fest, and EMERGE, and will be appearing at AFTERSHOCK & LOUDER THAN LIFE 2023.
