Njomza - "Lonely Nights" [Live + Interview] | All Eyes On

Njomza may not be a name you can easily pronounce, but it is certainly a name you need to know. Making a wave at multiple festivals across the US this year, we had the pleasure of highlighting the transcendent R&B artist as part of our latest All Eyes On showcase series. Performing "Lonely Nights" from her acclaimed Vacation EP, we had the pleasure of witnessing the magic of Njomza first-hand, as well as getting to know the artist behind the music in an exclusive interview.

The fact that Njomza's name translates to "fresh" in Albanian makes perfect sense given her penchant for consistently delivering tracks and projects that feel remarkably innovative. Not restricted by a singular genre, she sways through new-age soul, futuristic R&B, and moment of far-out psychedelia with an understated grace. With such a distinctive sound, it comes as no surprise to discover that Njomza found her start in music after catching the attention of the late Mac Miller, who signed her to his Remember Music label.

Njomza's musical legacy extends beyond her collaborative work with Miller or working alongside Ariana Grande on her lauded 2019 album thank u, next. With a pair of mesmerizing EPs and the release of her first new track since 2018, Njomza is pop's best-kept secret that is bound to not be a secret for much longer.
