RIIZE Makes Their Mark With Debut Single "Get A Guitar"

Officially making their debut, K-pop's latest boy group RIIZE takes center stage with the release of their debut single "Get A Guitar." The seven-member male group, consisting of Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohhee, and Anton, is the latest act to come out of SM Entertainment, bringing a refreshing, pop-centric presence to the scene with breezy instrumentals, dance-inducing production, and sweet, energetic vocals.

"Get A Guitar" characterizes RIIZE's spirit and personality with its youthful exuberance and surprisingly down-to-earth, ridiculously groovy pop elements. A recurring guitar riff reminiscent of Queen's "Another One Bites The Dust" grounds the effort and gives it a splash of funk amid the array of old-school synthesizers, modern beats, and stylized harmonics. The light and simple vocal melodies allow the track to breathe and not get too bogged down, with lyrics about coming together around the sound of a guitar and enjoying each other's company adding to the overall lighthearted mood.

The accompanying music video showcases the energy and funkiness of the song flawlessly. The choreography is perfectly executed and carefree, with group members holding their arms to resemble them holding a guitar. At the same time, other scenes show the group hanging out with each other surrounded by a plethora of guitars, showing off the multi-faceted group's chemistry and giving each member a chance to shine.

With their debut, RIIZE have successfully highlighted their ability to craft a distinctive sound and establish themselves as an emerging talent worth watching.
