Taylor Acorn And Charlotte Sands Bring Fire-And-Ice Energy in "Final Nail" Music Video | THE NOISE

Holy shit, this may be our favorite team-up of the year. Pop-punk powerhouses Taylor Acorn and Charlotte Sands come together on their new collaborative single, "Final Nail." The track erupts with an addictive high-octane energy that blasts off from the first note and leads listeners down an unrelenting journey toward female empowerment.

The single starts with Taylor addressing someone in her life that she cut off, crooning, "It's been a couple of months, what could you possibly want from me?/ All you ever do is drag me down, down, down/ Not coming with you this time around/ See you never." As the seething instrumentation ups the ante, so does she, putting her foot down and putting the end, or as she puts it, "the final nail," in their destructive relationship. Charlotte's killer vocals add richness to the angsty track, giving it an impressive contrast that melds power and precision.

"I knew the day that we wrote 'Final Nail' that I wanted it to be a sick female power duet, and Charlotte Sands instantly came to mind," Taylor shares. "I'm such a fan of hers and have been wanting to collaborate with her for years now, so to finally have her voice on it is *chef's kiss*. I'm really proud of this song and I think, well I hope, this one might be a favorite for a lot of listeners!"

Adds Charlotte: "I feel so lucky to be a part of this song alongside Taylor. Being able to collaborate with another female independent artist is a dream come true, and I feel so grateful that she wanted me to be a part of it. She works so extremely hard and is undeniably talented and deserves every ounce of praise and recognition that she's receiving!"

The single follows the success of Acorn's recently released record Survival In Motion, which we talked about with Taylor in a Q&A that you can read here. The Nashville-based artist is currently on the road supporting pop-punk legends Dashboard Confessional and Boys Like Girls. Sands is slated for two festival performances on the horizon, and we're sure that this team-up will ROCK live.
