Taylor Acorn Is On To "Greener" Pastures On Joyous New Single | THE NOISE

Pop-punk powerhouse Taylor Acorn offers a unique perspective with the release of her latest single, "Greener." This optimistic follow-up to her last single, "Gray," is a bright and uplifting song that serves as a beacon of hope for anyone on a healing journey. It's a testament to Taylor's ability to inspire listeners to find their inner strength and continue on their path.

The positively radiant single opens with understated percussion patterns, lulling guitar riffs, grooving bass lines, and Acorn's warm, soothing vocals, describing their desire for freedom. In the celebratory chorus, she soars as she discovers that her newfound liberation is even better than she could have imagined, rejoicing that now she can "see for miles and it's all mine" and enjoy the sweetness of life "on the other side."

In a statement about the single, Taylor shared, "'Greener' has to be one of my favorite songs I've ever written! I wanted this song to capture a feeling of revelation in that 'grass is greener' turn of phrase that we all know — and I think the music video does a great job in showcasing it too!! We all go through struggles and tough days where we beat ourselves up emotionally, and then when the going gets good, the grass feels so much greener!!"

The single release comes with a gorgeous, vibrant music video.

Opening with a grayscale shot, referencing her previous single, the artist waters her flower, visually illustrating the state of growth and metamorphosis that she's in. The footage soon blooms into scenes of vivid color, matching the joy and hope that seeps through the single's euphoric chorus.

Taylor recently kicked off the sold-out Good Enough Tour, a month-long US headline tour featuring support from the World's First Cinema. Fans can look forward to hearing "Greener" live for the first time, along with songs from Taylor's Certified Depressant EP, as she performs in major cities like Nashville, New York, Denver, Seattle, Austin, and more. Following the US tour, Taylor will go to the UK for Slam Dunk Festival.
