thomTide's "flowerField" is an Impressive Display of His Haunting Vocal Cadence

San Diego native thomTide has one of the most unique voices in contemporary pop. thomTide's vocal tone is unlike any other artist’s with a haunting and dreamlike quality that transports listeners back in time. Although thomTide takes influence from older alternative music, his style sounds current and envelope pushing.  

Previous singles such as  "clockWise" and  "simmerDown" are breathtaking introductions to the artist. The production is atmospheric and oftentimes psychedelic taking inspiration from bedroom pop, indie, and electronic. His newest single  "flowerField" builds upon these ideas in an innovative way.  "flowerField" is a gradually building ascent that shows thomTide's huge potential. thomTide's vocal performance steals the show immediately with his emotive tone and range. The driving keys of the track are chilling and match the emotion in thomTide's voice well.

"flowerField" is thomTide's best single to date and there's no sign he's slowing down anytime soon. His emotive cadences, instrumental choices, and songwriting make him a refreshing artist to watch as he continues to build his fanbase.
