Ai Bendr Outdoes Herself on Sophomore Release "Runaway"

An artist's sophomore release is always their most difficult. Especially in the case of Michigan based Ai Bendr whose debut single "Love Me Low" caught the attention of blogs, playlists, and even production collective Internet Money. Ai Bendr does not fold under the high pressure and expectations and her new single "Runaway" proves that she's here to stay.

"Runaway" is the perfect song to end the summer with. The instrumentation is driven by a ukulele line and grooving bass. The skeletal production gives Ai Bendr room to carry the song with the strength of her subdued yet powerful vocals.

"Runaway" is a vulnerable display of Ai Bendr's emotions and leaves fans anxious to hear more. Ai Bendr is able to make music unique and authentic to herself, while also wildly catchy and interesting.
