Beach Bunny Wrestles with Self-Doubt in Lively New Single “Tunnel Vision”

Bouncing back with their energetic new single, Beach Bunny has made waves with “Tunnel Vision," the latest glimpse into their upcoming third album of the same name. After years of relentless touring and a whirlwind rise to indie rock fame, the band- made up of Lili Trifilio, Anthony Vaccaro, Aidan Cada, and Jon Alvarado, has delivered a track that perfectly encapsulates the disorienting feeling of second-guessing yourself.

Pulling you in right from the opening lines, Trifilio sings, "The hole’s getting deeper / I don’t think my body was built for this," immediately immersing listeners in the frustration of feeling trapped in their own overthinking. “Tunnel Vision," the album, is described as a “back-to-basics rock record,” blending the punchy guitar riffs of “Honeymoon” with the polished production of “Emotional Creature." This track embodies that balance, swaying between introspection and bursts of full-band intensity that reflect Trifilio’s own inner turmoil. “I was just experiencing life,” she explains, reflecting on the break she took before writing this record. “And so many of those feelings is what made it into the record: self-doubt, uncertainty dealing with the aftermath of the pandemic and the world.”

With “Tunnel Vision” set for release on April 25, fans are grappling to get tickets to see Beach Bunny perform on their massive North American tour, hitting 27 cities alongside Pool Kids, Scarlet Demore, and Jayla Kai. If this track is any indication, the band is stepping into a new era- one that ditches love songs for something bigger, louder, and more self-assured. Whether you’re listening from your headphones or experiencing their music live in a packed venue, Beach Bunny is proving why they’re one of the leading artists in their genre.
