BETWEEN FRIENDS and Teezo Touchdown Make For a Match Made in Heaven in "redlight"

Indie sibling duo BETWEEN FRIENDS link up with Teezo Touchdown for "Redlight," a niche collab we never betted on yet is better than we ever could have imagined. This is an immediate soundtrack to a promising summer.

With both acts currently embarking on pivotal moments of their next eras, they meet at the intersection of angst and attachment in “Redlight.” Touchdown compliments BETWEEN FRIENDS' signature alternative charm almost effortlessly, with his scintillating verse bridging along the story of letting a love that runs deep finally dry out. “You could be the one for me at 17 or 48,” sings BETWEEN FRIENDS, speaking to a passion that transcends the physical, one that will still burn through every iteration of identity they die through.

In its video, directed by Kevin Clark, we follow the trio as they dance through an incredibly elaborate game of truck guitar hero. It’s fun and immersive, letting you feel the wind on your skin as you drift along with them. It perfectly encapsulates not only this single but the essence of both acts as artists who are creating to create and tapping in through the pleasure of enjoying themselves.

As BETWEEN FRIENDS land home from their sold-out tour and gear up to announce their upcoming project and Teezo Touchdown continues to roll out his next era with singles like "Familiarity” and “5 O’Clock,” we’re grateful they stumbled upon each other along the way to gift us the catalyst of a warm and debaucherous summer season ahead.
