Blossoms Go Straight for the Heartstrings in  "The Keeper" Visual

Blossoms, our favorite Brit rockers, goes abroad in the video for their blushing new single called "The Keeper." The uplifting and thoughtful song arrives just before the band's third album,  Foolish Loving Spaces,  set for release in  January 2020.

Shot on-site in New York City, "The Keeper" features the Manchester-born boys seeing the sights and sounds of the Big Apple. They're everywhere, from piling on to a tiny bike in Central Park to floating down the east river on a boat. But it's not just the boys donning of button-downs and bell-bottoms that make the visual feel classic; it was entirely shot on Super 8 Film.

Both the song and video feel like a brilliant homage to the greatest decade of arts, music, and vivacious culture. Everything from the British band's glossy locks and vintage clothes, to the textured film and airy gospel leaning-harmonies, make "The Keeper" both look and sound like a feel-great '70s rock song. But it's still undeniably modern!

That's the brilliance of Blossoms. They're able to channel their classic rock influences, like Oasis, into their own corduroy-clad, acid-wash brand of infectious indie rock. "The Keeper" is led by several of the most wholesome piano chords. Keyboardist, Myles Kellock, plays with a friendliness that mirrors the sound of a family-centered TV sitcom. Meanwhile, frontman Tom Ogden's vocals radiate warmth and an auditory sense of compassion. The sentiment echoes throughout, with clips of New Yorkers getting emotional and telling the band who their "keepers" are, bookending the heartwarming visual.
