Brenn! continues to single-handedly bring forth a folk-pop renaissance with his latest single, "Rearview." In the single, the young singer-songwriter paves a road that winds and weaves through themes of heartache, reflecting on a love that is no more while showcasing his genuine lyricism and enchanting sonic presence.

The single opens with the artist's soothing vocals and warm, intricate guitar riffs. Over growing instrumentation, he paints scenes of "Scattered halls / Dinner plates and shades of gray," pondering on his lack of time and reminiscing on movie nights with his loved one. As the pre-chorus builds with layers of soft tambourine shakes, banjo plucks, and steady percussion patterns at its back, he croons, "What could I have said / To bring you back to me? / What could I have said / To bring you back to me?

Brenn! bares his soul in the climatic chorus, oozing with emotion and daring to hold back from start to finish. He wails heart-wrenching lines, thinking back to a specific night and wondering what he could've done differently and what he could've said to convince his lover to stay.

"Rearview" follows the successful release of his latest singles, "Valpriso" and "4runner," the latter of which catapulted him to virality on social media platforms like TikTok. In celebration of his art and rising stardom, the self-proclaimed "King of the South" will be playing his first-ever live show in his hometown of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on November 9 at Gallettes.
