JXKE Looks For Greener Pastures On Angsty Single "Endless" | THE NOISE

Pop-punk singer-songwriter and Philadelphia native jxke takes us back to the 90s with his latest single, "endless." The track is an energetic and youthful song, encompassing the classic angsty theme of leaving your hometown behind and moving to a big city after being heartbroken.

At its core, "endless" is about impulsive escapism. Taking inspiration from artists like Blink-182 and All American Rejects, the single features a strong, recognizable, chunky guitar alongside powerful vocals. In the heartfelt lyrics, the singer revisits a time in his life when he felt overwhelming hopelessness and frustration, recognizing how he was pouring so much into relationships with people who didn't reciprocate his feelings and effort. "We both know that this won't last in the end," jxke sings, referencing his relationship with his hometown and possibly the irony of the single's title. The story progresses as he asks in the chorus' first line, "What's one more day?/ I'm packing my shit and moving to LA," hoping to escape the town, the girl who broke his heart, and not minding that she never calls back.

He said about the song's creation process, "I worked with my producer, Elvien, and it blended better than expected. I wouldn't say it is a solidification of my style, but me just having fun with music, tapping into all the elements and genres that I enjoy listening to, and trying to bring them into my music too."

jxke continues to work on his solo endeavors, inspired by some of his favorite bands, including Turnstile and Neck Deep. "I want to create music that resonates with people," he states. With his last single, "fiftyone," already surpassing 20,000 streams on Spotify, it's clear he's doing just that.
