SAINt JHN's  "Roses (Imanbek Remix)" Gets an Exhilarating Visual Treatment

After dropping his debut project Collection One in 2018, SAINt JHN has proven to be one of the most compelling artists we have come across in some time. His gripping, cinematic artistry has not only prompted him to accumulate much-deserved notoriety over the past couple of years, but it has allowed him to create waves across a range of genres. So, it comes as no surprise that "Roses," taken from his debut album, caught the attention of one of the most popular Russian DJs, DJ Imanbek, leading to SAINt JHN's inevitable breakthrough on both international and US airwaves.

Although the original downtempo, reverberating production of "Roses" serves as the current focal point of SAINt JHN's discography, the track takes on a new life in DJ Imanbek's remix. Beginning as an enigmatic yet confident introduction to JHN's expanding career, this remix not only represents his increasing success as an autonomous artist but is a further representation that his sound is designed to exist beyond the predisposed confines of genre.

Now with a new upbeat and bouncy identity, SAINt JHN's "Roses (Imanbek Remix)" has gained incredible popularity since its release and has solidified its place as a must-have in both the US and UK dance club scenes. The track currently holds the title as the most Shazam-ed song in the UK and has been placed on Spotify's Global Top 50 and Global Viral 50 charts. Clearly, this remix is loved by the masses, and we cannot help but consider ourselves guilty.

Today sees SAINt JHN giving the viral single the visual treatment.  The new video is a unique addition to SAINt JHN's new YouTube video series, "Ghetto Lenny's One Takes," which consists of one-take shot videos of JHN performing tracks from his 2019 project Ghetto Lenny's Love Songs. Whether setting up his camera on the asphalt of a stranded parking lot or on the sidewalk outside of a busy airport, SAINt JHN's one-take videos came to fruition simply because he "fvcking hate[s] shooting videos" and that he would rather "just live in my favorite moments like this..."

While we continue to find beauty in both his originals and remixes, one thing remains the same. SAINt JHN is a serious force to be reckoned with. As a stylistic chameleon in the world of hip-hop, he represents what it means to be an autonomous artist in a factory-like industry. As he gets ready to embark on his fourth headlining US tour next month, presented by Ones To Watch, we cannot help but queue up the "Roses" remix until then.
