Indie alt-pop darling spill tab continues to outdo herself with the release of another tantalizing, dance-inducing single, "CRÈME BRÛLÉE!" The single is a chaotic and simmering example of alt-pop grandiosity, pushing pop-minded boundaries and leaving listeners salivating for more.

"CRÈME BRÛLÉE!" opens with intricate guitar plucking and bachata-style percussion and rhythms. spill tab's gentle, hypnotic vocals weave in and out of psychedelic soundscapes, luring listeners into a unique world of her own creation. All the while, she sings poignant lyrics like, "I am devolving / I am losing steam / I have been passing out on the balance beam," further cementing spill tab as a master of idiosyncratic, chaotic alt-pop. The track practically boils over with maximalist inflections before it's simmered to a wavy, unexpected conclusion.

"'CRÈME BRÛLÉE!' is the result of Solomonophonic and I wanting to make the zazziest song we could," says the multi-talented artist. "We spent many days tweaking and creating different dynamics, wanting to make it fluid but jarring at the same time. I'm super excited that it's finally out."

The new single follows the release of spill tab's 2022 outings "Splinter" and "Sunburn" and hints at another body of work expected from the rising star in the new year as she continues to stake her claim as one of alt-pop's most innovative and fearless new names.
